WHEELCHAIR TENNIS PROGRAMS
USTA Southern California has long been a meaningful contributor to the growth of wheelchair tennis, offering and supporting countless wheelchair programs and events throughout the section.
SoCal is home to some of the most dedicated wheelchair tennis providers in the nation, as well as many of the country’s top wheelchair athletes. Orange County’s Brad Parks, the mind behind the origins of wheelchair tennis competition, is a true pioneer of the game. SoCal native Jason Harnett serves as Team USA Wheelchair Tennis National Manager. Grand Slam champion David Wagner, a SoCal native, is among the top quad players of all time, while San Diego Paralympian Dana Mathewson continues to rank among the most celebrated athletes in the United States.
