2025 USTA SOCAL JUNIOR CALENDAR

The 2025 USTA Southern California Junior Tournament Calendar will be found HERE. Tournament links and new tournaments will be added as they become available.

2025 QUOTA WILD CARD SELECTION CRITERIA

Each Sectional Association is entitled to a quota of players for the Level 1 National Championships. The allocation of the 2025 quota spots is still being calculated by the National office (2024 Quotas can be found here for reference). Additionally, each section is entitled to have up to two (2) “wild cards” as part of their section quota.

The USTA Southern California Junior Competition Committee has voted to award those wild cards using the methods outlined HERE. The wild card will be awarded in the division where the player earned it.

PLEASE NOTE: The USTA Southern California Junior Competition Committee reserves the right to change these procedures at any time for cogent reasons.

BENEFITS OF PLAYING JUNIOR CIRCUITS

If you’re just starting out in junior tournaments, Junior Circuits are a fantastic way to ease into individual match play. These non-ranking, one-day events focus on gaining match experience and having fun, with round-robin play lasting 2-4 hours and no added pressure!

Open to players ages 7-18 who can serve, rally, and keep score, these events also award PlayTracker points for players ages 10 & under. Once players find success in Junior Circuits, they can progress to Level 7 USTA Junior Tournaments to begin earning national ranking points.

REMINDER: DECLARE YOUR RESIDENCY IN 2025

Once per calendar year, all players who wish to participate in any closed sectional  tournaments or those that appear on the quota list must declare their residency with the USTA. Players may do that by logging into their USTA account and scrolling down to the Residency and Citizenship Eligibility Declaration page under the Account tab.

The first tournament that will require this is the Level 3 Henry Talbert Tournament on January 18th. Full instructions can be found HERE.
