- Players who have advanced to the third round of the main draw via double-bye then lose in the third round.

The deadline to enter in the Voluntary Consolation (VC) is Tuesday, June 11th at 5PM. Please email Eric at lakewood10s@gmail.com if you would like to enter. You MUST email Eric in order to be placed into the consolation draw. Consolation will start as early as Friday, June 14th (no time requests). Please do not enter if you do not intend to play.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO ANY TOURNAMENT THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 15TH, YOU ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THE VOLUNTARY CONSOLATION. FURTHERMORE, IF YOU ARE ON AN ALTERNATE LIST FOR A TOURNAMENT ON JUNE 15-16, YOU MUST REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE ALTERNATE LIST AS SOON AS YOU ENTER THE VOLUNTARY CONSOLATION.
Failure to comply will result in removal from both tournaments as well as suspension points.
Each day during Junior Sectionals, two players are acknowledged as Player of the Day not just for their competitive accomplishments, but also for their spirit and sportsmanship.
We encourage all of our players to compete with good sportsmanship and to #PlayHardPlayFair this week and every week!
More information coming soon!
Winners of Boys’ and Girls’ 18s singles at the USTA Southern California Junior Sectional Championships will receive a wild card entry into a summer 2024 SoCal Pro Series (USTA Pro Circuit) event. Runner-up finishers will receive a qualifier entry at a SoCal Pro Series event.
In Boys’ and Girls’ 16s, the champions at Junior Sectionals will also receive qualifier slots in a summer 2024 SoCal Pro Series event.
A Tournament Committee will choose which tournament the player will receive their wildcard. The USTA SoCal staff and Pro Series Tournament Committee will award wildcards after reviewing all players’ sportsmanship and suspension points. A player with poor sportsmanship or excessive suspension points may not be awarded wildcards. The committee reserves the right to rescind wild cards for cogent reasons.
Official photos will be available on PhotoShelter after the event.
