Southern California is home to some of the most accomplished and renowned college tennis programs in the nation, as well as some of the best USTA Tennis on Campus club teams that compete for national titles year-in and year-out. Collegiate tennis at any level provides an ideal platform for junior players to stay with the game, to be a vehicle for college entrance opportunities, and to elevate their college experience.

Tennis on Campus

Tennis on Campus is the USTA program for college club tennis players. It has been designed for and organized by college students who want to stay involved in the game, make friends, and compete in events all around the country at a local, sectional, and national level.

Each year, Southern California sends several teams to compete at the USTA Tennis on Campus National Championships.

Recruiting & Readiness

For students and parents alike, navigating through the college tennis process can be a daunting task. But with timely preparation and proper guidance, the path from eligibility to recruitment to varsity college tennis can lead a scholar-athlete to a tennis experience like no other.

Intercollegiate Tennis Association

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is the governing body of college tennis, overseeing men’s and women’s varsity tennis at all levels – NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and Junior/Community College.

The ITA hosts regional and national competitions throughout the school year, most notably the fall All-American Championships. Some major collegiate events are held right here in Southern California and bring some of the nation’s finest college players and future pro tour stars to our section.
