USTA Southern California Renews Strategic
Partnership with Weil Tennis Academy

USTA Southern California is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Weil Tennis Academy, one of the West Coast’s premier tennis academies. After 28 successful years of collaboration, the renewed agreement marks a continued commitment to competitive junior player development, enhancing player opportunities in the region, and growing the world’s healthiest sport. 

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Weil Tennis Academy,” said Trevor Kronemann, Executive Director of USTA Southern California. “The Weil team shares our commitment to cultivating athletes both on and off the court, and we’re excited to build on that success by continuing to foster player development in this elite training environment.” 

Founded in Ojai, California in 1997, the Weil Tennis Academy has a decades-long history of tennis excellence, with notable professional players Grigor Dimitrov and Maxime Cressy on its alumni roster. From professional coaching and fitness training to competitive match play and education, Weil offers a training experience for junior players who want to raise their game and have fun. The Academy even offers a weekend travel program, where players can travel to USTA Southern California tournaments alongside Weil’s international coaching staff—offering a full immersion into the region’s competitive tennis scene.

Weil’s week-long Summer Junior Training Camps are ideal for competitive junior tennis players, aged 8 to 18 years old, who are looking for a fun experience with dedicated coaches and motivated players.
