> BARNES TENNIS CENTER

Courts will be available at Barnes Tennis Center beginning Wednesday, August 5th for a fee. Call 619-221-9000.

On Friday, August 7, all 22 hard courts at Barnes Tennis Center will be available for practice at no fee beginning at 8:00 AM. Courts will be available on a first come, first served basis. Four players to a court, if others are waiting. Players have priority over coaches. No advance reservations will be taken for Friday.

Beginning Saturday, August 8 courts will be open at 7:00 AM for practice before the first 8:00 AM matches begin. This is first come, first serve. Four on a court if there are players are waiting. Starting at 8:00 AM, courts will be used for matches.

> PRACTICE COURTS AT BARNES TENNIS CENTER ON TOURNAMENT DAYS

On tournament days, two courts are reserved daily for players with upcoming matches. These courts are for short, pre-match warm-ups only.  

Players may sign up within a reasonable window before their match in half hour segments. For example, a 10:00 AM match may use 8:00–9:30 AM slots.

Players with later matches may not reserve early morning times. Four players per court. Players take priority over parents or coaches.

The Desk will be open from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day beginning on Friday, August 7. During the tournament, sign up in person at the Practice Court Sign-up Desk for practice courts at Barnes and Peninsula Tennis Club.

No phone reservations will be taken. 

Practice courts are on a first come, first served basis. Four players per court if necessary.

One hour segments, please. At all times, players have priority over parents, coaches, or hitting partners.

> BALBOA TENNIS CLUB

Prior to the start of the tournament, players must be on the site in order to access a Court for practice, if one is available. The best time to get a court for practice is before 4:00 PM. The fee is $10 per person for a daily permit pass which is good all day.

Courts at Balboa open at 8:00 AM each day. Players are welcome to warm up on the match courts the tournament has reserved before the matches begin. On tournament days, check with the site director to see if there are courts available for practice.

> UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO

The courts that have been reserved for the tournament at USD open at 7:00 AM each day. Players are welcome to warm up on these match courts before the matches begin.

> POINT LOMA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY

Just minutes from the site, we have six beautiful courts on the Pacific from Sunday August 9 to Wednesday, August 12. Sign up at the Practice Court Sign-up Desk at Barnes Tennis Center.

Parking Guidelines:

Your GPS navigation will take you to the entrance of the campus.

After entering PLNU through the guard gate, go straight through two STOP signs and continue downhill.

On the left, look for the sign  “Athletic Complex – Home of the Sea Lions” entrance. This is the closest parking to the tennis courts (6 courts on site).

Important: Parking in this lot is very limited. If there are no spaces available, parents are strongly encouraged to drop off their players at this entrance first, then proceed to park. Allow 3 to 5 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the tennis courts. There will be signage.

If the Athletic Complex parking lot is full, exit the lot,  turn left and continue downhill about 50 yards to a gravel parking lot on the right. Walk back uphill to the Athletic Complex entrance and follow signs to the tennis courts.

There is also an additional parking lot  available just above the Athletic Complex parking lot in Lot A if space is open. Also, there are a few spaces for public parking along the curb on the right coming down the hill.

Bathrooms are available and bring your own water.
